We go on with our trip around the world that we started last week. We’re riding on the coattails of Phileas Fogg, who reached Paris on his way from London in early October 1872. Even though he'd spent just a couple of hours there before his departure for Turin, we can by no means skip this marvelous city.

Today is the birthday of the actress Sigourney Weaver, perhaps best known as the remarkable Ripley, who starred in four Alien movies, which makes it a great occasion to remember the 1979 movie that started it all. Alien (1979), with the fantastic designs by H.R. Giger, launched a new era of space visuals, and this tradition is still very present in contemporary cinema. In honor of this Alien star, we are happy to share our selection of the most exciting alien creatures and worlds created by our contributors.

Easter is a wonderful and bright holiday that is dedicated to the resurrection of Jesus Christ. From the early morning you can hear the ringing bells of the churches and cathedrals, and people rush to the worship. Even if you don't consider yourself a religious person, you will definitely feel the mood of this holiday that is everywhere. The amazing feeling of joy that is coming from everyone in the street, the family dinners with lots of traditional dishes, the kids’ laughter during their search for Easter baskets – isn’t it a great reason to enjoy this wonderful spring day?
