The War Is Not Over. How To Make A Secure Donation To Support Ukraine

On February 24, the world was shaken by the news that Russia had launched a full-scale war against Ukraine. People, brands, and organizations united to help Ukrainians fight for freedom.

Hundreds of companies, including Depositphotos, suspended business in Russian and Belarusian markets, and a wave of anti-war rallies swept the world. Their participants called on authorities to stand for Ukraine, which became the world’s outpost of the fight for democracy.

Creatives did not stand aside as well, — events in Ukraine became the subject of many creative campaigns and artworks. #BraveUkraine being one of them.

However, the war is not over, and it continues to challenge us. Ukraine’s defense, medical aid, and reconstruction are now on the global agenda. And UNITED24, the main venue for collecting donations in support of Ukraine, is an efficient way for you or your organization to help.

What is UNITED24, and why can you trust this platform?

UNITED24 (U24) is a global initiative launched by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, in May 2022. Its goal is to unite people in their will to support Ukraine efficiently.

For now, the initiative includes a fundraising platform where you can make a charitable donation from anywhere in the world with a simple click. There are three directions of support in which your donation can be used:

Medical Aid
Rebuild Ukraine

All funds are transferred to the accounts of the National Bank of Ukraine assigned to the relevant ministries (The Ministry of Defenсe of Ukraine, The Ministry of Healthcare of Ukraine, and The Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine).

Report on the fund distribution is provided by the assigned ministries once a week.

How to make a charitable donation on UNITED24

The platform allows one-click donations worldwide and protects you from delays, intermediaries, and fraud.

To make your charitable contribution, go to the UNITED24 website and click on the “Make a donation” button. Another option is to scroll down and select the direction in which you want your donation to be used.

Then, select a payment method: credit card payment, bank transfer, or crypto. Fill in your payment details and confirm the operation. That’s it!

Auditing and consulting company Deloitte in Ukraine, part of Deloitte’s global accounting network, joined the platform; and one of the Big Four accounting organizations and the most prominent world leaders in the industry will monitor the general report by the ministries quarterly.
