- 531K+ AI image generations were created across a wide range of design use cases.
- 358K+ AI edits were made using the AI Image Editor, including background removal, object modifications, and upscaling.
- We introduced a PNG format for greater creative flexibility.

AI Image Editor
Our AI Image Editor became a practical, everyday tool for creators who need results without friction. From background removal and object cleanup to quick visual refinements, it helps you adapt visuals to real briefs—faster, cleaner, and without breaking creative flow. No complex setup. Only convenient edits, right where you need them.
Reference-based AI Image Generation
This update addressed one of the biggest pain points in generative visuals, which is control over generated results. With reference-based AI image generation, you don’t have to generate visuals from scratch, come up with a prompt, and play with new results each time.
Guide outputs using actual visual examples, keeping style, mood, and composition aligned with your vision. The result is AI that supports creative intent instead of diluting it. This is especially valuable for brand work, campaigns, and consistent visual storytelling.

In 2025, DepositPhotos stepped into a refreshed visual identity as part of the VistaPrint family. The update clarified who we are and how we serve modern creators. A cleaner interface, sharper positioning, and better integration across tools made our platform feel more focused and confident.

Our annual Creative Trends report remained a cornerstone project in 2025, one that goes beyond predictions and into cultural insight. Built on our library data, expert insights, and real-world creative signals, the research explores how design is evolving in response to technology, emotion, and human needs.
