Big news! Depositphotos is now part of global design company VistaPrint!

Depositphotos is receiving accelerated investments in tech, team, and marketing activities

The Depositphotos content marketplace will remain to operate as a separate brand. It will have an opportunity to expand its product development team, grow its library, and boost its brand presence in North America and Europe. We’ll also be able to invest more into creative projects to support our community of contributors and clients, and help them realize their ideas.

We’re happy to join forces with such a strong international brand. As a part of the global Vista family, we’ll get resources and investments to accelerate our product innovation and expand our service. We’ll provide customers with the tools and support they need to stand out in the digital world. For our team, this is a unique opportunity to access the resources, knowledge, and culture of an international corporation, while remaining in our favorite startup mode. Not to mention, we’re joining a company with incredible corporate culture, named as one of the best remote-first workplaces, one of the best Places to Work for LGBTQ Equality, with Robert Keane named the Best CEO for Women ”. — Vadim Nekhai, Vice President of VistaCreate and Depositphotos said. — “To skyrocket our growth, we’re going to hire more talent in the following months.

What does the acquisition mean for Crello?

As a result of the acquisition, Crello has been rebranded to VistaCreate. It has also become part of the newly formed Vista parent brand, along with VistaPrint, 99designs by Vista, and Vista x Wix (as an integrated strategic partner). These design services enable Vista to offer small business owners end-to-end solutions that support them online, offline, on-the-go, and at any point of their entrepreneurial journey.

VistaPrint has been investing in its transformation, which includes, among other acquisitions, Depositphotos and VistaCreate growth. Following the acquisition, Vista plans to expand hiring initiatives and double their team in the next 12 months.

The acquisition of Depositphotos and Crello is yet another step in our journey towards building a compelling, full-spectrum design offering. Through the launch of VistaCreate, small businesses will have access to a platform that makes it easy for them to bring their social media and digital design visions to life, no matter their experience. This is an integral step in Vista’s journey to becoming an expert design and marketing partner to small businesses, through enabling us to serve a growing customer need for high-quality DIY digital design. — said Florian Baumgartner, President of International for Vista.

How will these changes affect our contributors?

By being part of a global brand, Depositphotos will distribute its products to Vista’s large customer base of over 20 million users. Our contributors will have a chance to share their works and portfolios with a worldwide community, and receive even more international exposure.

At Depositphotos, we’re thrilled about these changes and look forward to a brighter future together with the Vista family. 😉

Stay tuned for more news and updates soon!

Sincerely,

The Depositphotos Team
