Photo Collection: Winter Vacation (and some fun)

It’s the prime time for winter holidays, when Christmas and New Year is done and dealt with and you can indulge in a little bit of fun. Our winter collection is about the joy (if possible) of spending quality time outside in the snow. From simple snowman building tasks to extreme sports, this collection makes winter seem perhaps not so bad.

Promoting seasonal sports and encouraging people to go outside might seem like an impossible task, and for some it is, but with our selection of images, you’ll be that much closer to getting your clients and followers to give winter holidays and winter vacation time a second glance.

Enjoy the optional and necessary steps in our winter vacation tale to help you get through the dark, sometimes moody but otherwise magical winter days.

Step 1: Get in the car and go

Some of the greatest adventures start with a view like this one. Get in the car and head to the mountains. Especially if the city lacks some winter wonderland magic.

Step 2: Don’t forget the ice skates

Regardless of your skills with ice skating, it’s perhaps one of the most engaging winter activities which are only fun once you’ve made sure the ice won’t miraculously crack under your feet. Once that’s dealt with, you’ll be entertained for hours.

Step 3: Scouting for the perfect Christmas tree

Christmas is over? Not a problem. Every home could use a little dazzling with a fresh Christmas tree which is that much more special if you pick it out yourself.

Step 4: If you don’t enjoy the snow, your pets certainly will

If you find it hard to enjoy the wonders of the questionable weather that hurts your face and makes it impossible to breathe, watch and learn from your beloved pets.

Step 5: Visit an actual winter wonderland

Step 6: Stock up on tea to get you through the cold winter days

There’s never enough tea, especially when you decide to spend some time outdoors. Bring your travel mug and fill it with some infused magic (or coffee for motivation).

Step 7: Wherever you are, homemade cookies will save you

Even if you take off on a vacation, spending some quality time with your loved ones in the warmth of a home can really cheer you up. Besides, who can resist freshly baked cookies during this time?

Step 8: Indulge in winter sports

If you don’t know how to ski or snowboard, there’s no better time to learn. Get that adrenaline running as you make your way to the snowy mountains.

Step 9: Don’t forget your camera

Picking up a hobby at this time of the year is a sound plan. Get your camera out, capture those happy moments with the loved ones and some of the winter fun you have planned so far.

Step 10: Can’t leave the house? At least make it past your porch to build the snowman

It doesn’t even have to be a snowman. Use the soft snow to sculpt anything and everything including a winter fort where you can reside to  hide from other humans (or protect yourself during a snowball fight).

Step 11: If all else fails, take the next train to a warmer destination

Jokes aside, traveling in the winter time has its charm. If you’re not a winter person, even a train ride to a nearby nature retreat will do just fine as a winter vacation.
