You could be the winner! Top photography contests in 2017

Part of being a professional photographer is also learning to seize opportunities. When you’ve got such a rich portfolio of work and your hard drive is flooding with excellent pictures that didn’t make the cut, know that there is a time and a place for them.

International photography projects are aimed at people just like you. The treasure hunt for new talent is in constant motion throughout the year which is why you should consider applying. Photography contests are healthy competition and give you a chance at the exposure you deserve.

ZEISS Photography Award 2017

Deadline: 7 February 2017

Fees: Free

Prizes: The winning photographer will receive a ZEISS lenses worth €12,000 and will be sponsored to travel and shoot a photography project in a location of their choice. The travel expenses cover up to €3,000.
