Around the World in Eighty Days: the Straits of Malacca, Malaysia

“The varied landscape afforded by the Andaman Islands was soon passed, however, and the Rangoon rapidly approached the Straits of Malacca, which gave access to the China seas. During the afternoon of Wednesday, 30th October, the Rangoon entered the Strait of Malacca, which separates the peninsula of that name from Sumatra.” Not only will we cross the Straits, but we will also visit some cantons of Malaysia.
